to huge benefits for their organizations and

Q: Is a Club Advisor a sales
position?
A: No! A Club Advisor is not a sales person.
A Club Advisor is a person who has been trained
to provide booster clubs and extracurricular
programs with guidance, and support. As a
Club Advisor you will have the opportunity
to fill a booster clubs needs by helping to
guide them to the right solution with the
best provider on the market. Regardless of
whether a club is looking to make sure that
they are getting the highest quality apparel
at the best possible pricing or seeking guidance
on how to increase their membership, they
will turn to you for support and guidance,
but they will not turn to you to make a sale.
We leave that to the industry experts who
specialize in specific products and services.
Just like a coach for a team, a teacher for
a classroom or a president for a company,
you will be looked to as an expert in providing
guidance and support to booster clubs. A role
that NABCA will assist in your success.
Q: What if there is already a Club
Advisor in my city?
A: Great! Becoming a Club Advisor
does not provide you with a protected territory
it only gives you the opportunity to work
with booster clubs, teams and businesses that
you choose to support. Club Advisors
are free to prospect and support multiple
clubs, teams and businesses within their community
as well as other communities throughout their
state. When you become a Club
Advisor you will have the opportunity
to protect clubs, teams and businesses for
a period of time while you are getting up
and running. Once you protect a potential
account, no other Advocate or Club
Advisor will be able to prospect that
account until after a set time has passed
and you haven`t brought them on board.
Q: Do I have to be involved with a booster
club to be a Club Advisor?
A: No! It does help if you have a working
knowledge of what a booster club needs, wants
and can benefit from. If you don`t have experience
working with booster clubs or teams you can
gain the knowledge through the training &
certification conferences or the resources
provided to every Club Advisor.
Q: What if I don`t have any business experience?
A: As long as you have the desire to learn,
the will to succeed and the passion to help
make a difference you can learn the rest.
Support systems have been developed to help
you achieve a level of success that will get
you moving in the right direction.
Q: Can I make this a full-time career?
A: Yes. If you choose, you can make this opportunity
one that will provide a full-time income year
after year. Remember, you will be the first
contact that clubs and teams call when they
need to conduct a fundraiser or when they
need help forming a foundation. The opportunities
will continue to grow and expand as your knowledge
and experience does as well. From conducting
regional tournaments to helping put on Booster
U seminars the income opportunities abound
for Club Advisors.
Q: When school`s out can we still find opportunities
to create income?
A: Most definitely, Yes! Just because school`s
out doesn`t mean you don`t have opportunities
to earn commissions. Summer is actually the
best time of the year to prospect businesses
as well as conducting seminars, tournaments,
clinics and numerous activities. Remember,
booster clubs can be found actively supporting
programs both school and non-school related,
year round.
Q:
