Q: How can I become a Certified Club Advisor?
A: The first step is to register as a NABCA
Advocate and then complete the steps to upgrade
to a Club Advisor. After you have reached
the Club Advisor position you can elect to
go through the training and certification
process which will require that you complete
a series of training modules as well as attending
a two-day Certification Course.
Q:
What skills do I need to be a successful Certified
Club Advisor?
A: You will need good people skills, the confidence
to guide and lead others, a passion for achieving
personal and business success and a high degree
of industry knowledge learned through the
certification courses and conference.
Q:
How much does it cost to become a Certified
Club Advisor?
A: Becoming a Certified Club Advisor does
not require an upfront fee. You will only
be required to spend ample time to complete
the training and certification courses, pay
for the training and certification modules
as well as covering your personal expenses
to and from the two-day certification conference.
With exception to your time and personal expenses
to attend the two-day certification course
your out-of-pocket expenses will amount to
only a few hundred dollars.
Q:
How do I complete the certification courses
to become a Certified Club Advisor?
A: You can choose to either take the courses
online or receive them via mail. Once you
have completed a training module you will
complete a review test and then upon passing
the review test you can elect to move on to
the next training module. The only certification
process you must attend in person is the two-day
certification conference.
Q:
What if there is already a Certified Club
Advisor in my city?
A: Great! The Certified Club Advisor is not
an exclusive position. This is an industry
status achieved by those who choose to become
leaders in the industry. You will find that
joining the ranks as a Certified Club Advisor
will position you at the top of the industry
and as a leader who will be sought out by
Advocates, Club Advisors, booster clubs, school
officials, and parents.
Q:
How long does it take to achieve the Certified
Club Advisor ranking?
A: It really all depends upon the following
factors: (1) your level of committment and
desire, (2) the amount of time you put into
completing the training modules, and (3) your
ability to satisfy the performance requirements.
For the average person who will make a serious
committment towards this goal it will take
them between 3 to 9 months.
Q:
What kind of support will I receive?
A: Every Certified Club Advisor has full access
to an expanded online support system as well
as direct access to a highly qualified and
knowledgeable corpate staff member who will
be assigned to you to help assist in your
success.
Remember!
You must first become an Advocate. |
