How often are membership dues paid?
Membership dues are paid on an annual basis. Your 12-month membership period begins on the date you become an active member, ensuring you receive a full year of benefits.
Do membership dues remain the same each year?
Yes, your loyalty is rewarded! Starting your second year, your membership dues will reduce approximately 50% of your initial dues, and they will remain locked at the lower year, never increasing as long as the group remain active members in good standing.
If we have more than one club at our school are we charged multiple membership fees?
Each booster club must secure its own membership unless they are structured under the main booster club's umbrella status. For schools with large numbers of booster clubs, group discounts can be awarded.
How can the NBCTC help my club?
Regardless of your club's stage—pre-start-up, established 501(c)(3), or anything in between—the NBCTC offers solutions to common booster club challenges. We provide hands-on guidance, education, training and support, and a comprehensive suite of resources to help you increase parent involvement, optimize fundraising, and achieve your goals.

- Personalized Advisor: Your assigned NBCTC Club Advisor is a valuable resource, available to all of your group's officers, directors, committee chairs and those overseeing the booster club, with hands-on guidance, education, training, and tailored answers and solutions.
Our club has a vendor problem, can you help us resolve it?
Absolutely, if the vendor is part of our NBCTC approved vendor network. We hold all NBCTC approved vendors to a Business Code of Ethical Practices. Should you experience any issues, please contact your NBCTC Advisor or reach out to the NBCTC directly and we will work to help resolve the situation. To avoid potential problems, we strongly encourage all NBCTC members to use vendors that have been vetted and approved by the NBCTC, as we are unable to provide assistance with non-approved vendors.
Our booster club is in need of some new fundraising ideas, can you suggest any places that can offer us help?
The NBCTC has multiple resources to help. We offer a large amount of fundraising information specific to booster clubs. Your assigned Club Advisor will work to help provide guidance on fundraising solutions that fit the groups demographics, needs and goals.
Does the NBCTC provide any training or support services?
Absolutely. Training is central to our mission. We provide:
- Booster Summits: Full-day, state-based training events.
- Booster U Workshops: Regional, 2.5-hour workshops covering essential booster club topics.
- Member Mini-Training Sessions: 30-minute topic specific trainings done via Zoom by assigned Club Advisors.
- Personalized Advisor Support: Hands-on guidance from dedicated NBCTC Advisors.
We are starting a new booster club and don't know what to do. Can the NBCTC help us?
Absolutely! The NBCTC is here to support booster clubs every step of the way. Here's how we can help:
- Expert Guidance: Our highly qualified staff is ready to answer your questions and provide direction.
- Personalized Support: You'll receive hands-on assistance from a dedicated NBCTC Advisor.
- All-Inclusive: Because we are a true association, everything from helping become registered as a non-profit with the State Secretary, to securing the groups EIN, to filing and becoming 501c3, it's all part of membership, you won't be charged additional fees - that's our commitment and our guarantee.
- Training Workshops: Attend our Booster U workshops to learn best practices and connect with other booster club leaders in your area.
Does our club have to be a member of the NBCTC in order to take advantage of the services you offer?
No, we support all booster clubs, and parent groups regardless of membership status. However, NBCTC members enjoy exclusive benefits, including:
- Enhanced Resources: Access to a wider range of tools and information.
- Exclusive Discounts: Special offers from vendors and partners.
- Personalized Support: Hands-on guidance from a dedicated NBCTC Advisor.
While we offer many free resources, membership unlocks the full potential of NBCTC support.
We do not get any support from our coaches, administration and activities director. Can you help us resolve this problem?
While the NBCTC can't directly intervene in your school's dynamics, we can provide resources and guidance to help you foster positive relationships with your coaches and administration. Here are some ways we can support you:

- Advisor Support: Your dedicated NBCTC Advisor can offer personalized advice and strategies for navigating these challenges.

Our club struggles to get parents involved. Can the NBCTC help us with this problem?
