Option: Twice yearly workshops (Fall – Spring)

The Booster Basics Workshops provide both school administrators and booster club officers with workshops up to twice yearly and year-long support with focus on insuring that booster clubs are following district, state and federal regulations and conducting activities with best practices to help minimize risks, liabilities and challenges – for ALL PARTIES!

 

Ongoing Training & Support at ALL Levels

Booster Club Officers – School and District Administrators are all provided ongoing Guidance, Education, Training and Support from trained industry experts.

Every Booster Club in attendance is provided extended guidance and support for a period of up to 6 months from each workshop. Non NBCTC or affiliated state association clubs receive three consolation/support sessions via email or phone, with a trained booster club advisor. NBCTC member clubs receive unlimited consolation/support sessions via email or phone, with a trained booster club advisor, assigned specifically to their group.

All consolation/support sessions are focused on helping the booster club progress towards compliance and best practices that will meet expectations at the district, state and federal levels.
School and District Administrators whose booster clubs attend the workshops are provided with ongoing guidance and support via email and phone, from a trained senior level booster club advisor.

Who Should Attend?

We provide two workshops both on the same day: A 90-minute Admin-Overseer workshop for school and district administrators tasked with overseeing and working with booster clubs and a 2.5-hour Booster Basics workshop for booster club officers and leaders.

The Admin-Overseer Workshop is open to all school and district administrators, coaches, program directors and overseers.  The Booster Basics workshop is open to all booster club and parent group officers, volunteers and those interested in supporting the growth of booster clubs and extracurricular programs.

How Long Do the Workshops Last?

The Admin-Overseer workshop is 90 minutes.  The Booster Basics workshop is 2.5 hours with additional time allocated for an open floor Q&A session.  School – District sponsored workshops are scheduled for the same day, with times established by the school or district.

Community Based Workshops start at 6pm unless otherwise noted.

Where Are Workshops Held?

School – District sponsored workshops are held at the School or School District facility.   Community based workshops are scheduled in communities nationally.
